I ❤️Tabasco geodes! I was watching an online auction and got a little carried away…not realizing that a few were really big! This was one of them, but undaunted I decided to make this into a bracelet! The red banded agate beads came from a local crystal shop and I had been looking for just the right complementary stone…and this was it! Love how this design turned out, finished with freshwater pearls and Hill Tribe Silver beads and toggle (97.5-99% fine silver). The Tabasco Geode is really sparkly, the photo doesn’t do it justice, since it was taken on an overcast day, so no sun to highlight the yummy crystals. This bracelet is 8 inches long.

Formally known as Illianites, these are the world’s smallest geode formation. Most of the geodes have a small rind of agate with tiny quartz crystals in the center called druzy. They come from Zacatecas, Mexico.
