Hemimorphite is a really rare, typically found with druzy crystals. This one is pretty special…I picked it out directly from the lapidary artist. I was traveling to Arizona for work and contacted Jimmy and Joyce to see if I could come and check out their studio while I was there. They picked me up and took me to their place and showed me many beautiful stones. I saw this one and was stunned at how beautiful the pattern of colors was. I brought it back (along with a few others!) and proceeded to design it with these lovely larimar nuggets. Larimar is also a very rare stone, only found in the Domican Republic and they are now limited the amount that can be mined and sold. This combination of colors remind me of the beauty of the Carribean Sea.
